Students in Mrs. Wilson’s Textile Design and Construction class at Springfield Local High School made dresses to send to girls in Africa. It’s for Little Dresses for Africa, a non-profit.
“When I first heard I thought it was really sweet that we are doing something for children who don’t have as much as we do,” said a Springfield High School student.
Students made 12 dresses, and the fabric for the dresses was donated. Dresses have ribbons, so girls can tie and adjust how long they want the ribbons on their shoulders. This is the second year Mrs. Wilson’s class has made dresses for Little Dresses for Africa.
