As of this morning, Springfield Local Schools will be adapting new Covid policies in conjunction with the new CDC and Ohio Department of Health recommendations. If a student or staff member tests positive they are now expected to stay home for the next 5 days regardless of symptoms or vaccination status. They may possibly resume activities with a mask for the next following 5 days.
For those who are contacts because of exposure inside of the school setting, you mask for 10 days to stay in school as long as you remain asymptomatic. This is regardless of vaccination status. Nothing has changed.
If there are any further questions, please contact Susan Springer, our school nurse.
